Becky’s desire to meld classically beautiful bridal fabrics with a down-to-there backless design suited her personality and figure perfectly.
We worked with a blush-colored base of peau-de-soie, layered it with a gored, french-seamed skirt of creamy silk organza, and topped off the empire, A-line design with a heavily beaded piece that incorporated both colors.
The halter style showed off her tall, willowy frame, and the backless design with its long beaded train gave her the daring, unexpected element she wanted.  It reminds me of how, while working with her, what a joy it was to watch her expression of contemplative seriousness break into a radiant and transforming smile.
